After the incident in Mayhem, Auburey is killed and Mikel and Kitsune sacrifice one of their lives to be reborn 100 years later when Auburey’s soul is also reborn and can be brought back to the city. This story takes place during the Arc of Lost Souls, when they mindless search for Auburey and end up finding his younger brother Christian instead, as well as Zillah, Molochai, Twig and Nothing. They have yet to leave the human home they have resided in all this time. But they are awakening and are beginning to realize they need to leave.
